I ended up being beamed to the front of my house. I don't really remember anything.

I think he's an alien.

[Well that is actually nothing he's heard of. He knew the landlord was secretive and didn't like to be seen or show himself, but teleporting people away like that is news to him. He is. Not touching that alien part just yet though.]

Did you get to see him before you were sent back? What was the last thing you remember?

Didn't get to see him. I remember thinking that he has a pretty nice place despite the forest and stuff. It didn't looks like anyone was living there though.

It felt kind of haunted. I wonder if it's different if there are more people.

[If it were any other situation, Cheren might be a bit more reluctant to be dragged into this. And even though he is still a bit reluctant, curiosity about the Landlord himself is overriding that reluctance.]

Maybe he just doesn't live there anymore. If no one knows what he looks like, it's possible we wouldn't notice if he were living next to us, or even in the same house.

It's possible, though. If there are more people, someone might catch something another person missed. What about it felt haunted?

That sounds like a plan. We can see if anyone else we know wants to come with us. Mei might be interested in that, I think.

She's kind of like Mei, actually. She's very... upbeat and spirited. [To put it nicely. No, he doesn't mind Minako, but she can be a bit much.]

[ Soon, she'll steal everyone's jobs. ]

Oh. That doesn't sound too bad. [ He thinks quite highly of Mei as a person and a trainer!! Minako must be as great. ]

I guess we'll just stick with the original plan for now.

Mei's more subdued than she is. Minako is fine in small doses most of the time.
